Education
Princeton University, Class of 1996
Major: Art History
Certificate: Visual Arts, Photography
I had the privilege of studying with Emmit Gowin, Frank Goehlke, Jim Dow, and Deanne Sokolin. On a technical level, I learned all the basics of both black and white and color photography from exposure to printing. The time I spent manually color correcting my color prints has been an invaluable in this age of digital photography. I was able to use all formats of camera and learned alternative processes like Polaroid transfers and emulsion transfers. When it comes to digital photography, I am largely self-taught.
